Perennials and bulbs could be used to give the garden a touch of class and comfort. With stone and water you can create an ambience worth spending time at. You can add stones to the water itself and on the sides of the ponds and waterfall as well because they are going to look gorgeous that way.

You can also add benches and walking trails to the Japanese garden if you want because actually, it is going to be a place where there is no human and worldly interference. With that, there should be a few strolling points for the viewers as well.
